Lang Tang Trek with Naya Khang Peak

Naya Kang which lies in the altitude of 5844m is one of the popular climbing peaks located at the Lang Tang region. It is also named as Ganja La Chuli. The reason for its popularity among climbers is because of its short distance from the Kathmandu valley. The trail introduces you with the dense forest of rhododendron, oak to rugged rocks and marshy land. As you reach towards the Lang Tang valley, you can smell the accent of yak and cheese with the views of Tibetan culture. You can witness the lifestyle of Timanag people and can get the closeness of their culture as well.

On the other hand, there are 3 circuits you can reach to Naya Khang peak; through Helambu circuit trek, Lang Tang Ganjala pass trekking, Lang Tang Gosaikunda Trek. After you continue to Naya Khang peak, you can witness mountains such as Lang Tang (7227m), Yala(5500m), Shishapangma(8013m) and Dorje Lakpa(6966m) from the top of the peak. This is considered as one of the lesser climbed peaks and to climb this mountain one doesn’t need technical knowledge as others. However, one needs to be in good health in order to reach that level of altitude.
