South Annapurna Expedition

Annapurna voted as the best long-distance trek in the world with a height of 8091m (26,545 ft) above the sea level and considered as the world’s 10th highest peak. The Annapurna section of Himalayas contains thirteen additional peaks over the range of 7,000m (22,90ft) and 16 more mountains over 6,000m (19,690ft). with the length of 55kilometers (34mi), the Annapurna massif is bounded by the Kaligandaki gorge on the west, the Marshangdi river on the north and east, having the valley of Pokhara on the south.

The Annapurna expedition is a total of 26 days. In order to participate in Annapurna trek, one must maintain their good health because they will be exposing themselves in a high altitude. Our journey starts from flying to the valley of lakes, Pokhara and driving to Nayapul. You can witness beautiful rocky as well as forestry mountain in the trails along with the beautiful view of Himalayas. Starting Nayapool, we follow the circuit through Ghandruk, which is also the most touristic place. And following the trails, your trek to Tadapani and Dobato, and finally to the basecamp.

Apart from the expedition, you will enjoy the beautiful view of the native cultures, lifestyle, tradition, and hospitality of the villagers. The pristine beauty makes your journey and helps to forget the tiredness of the trek.

Day 01. Arrival to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02. Prepare for expedition and  free day in Kathmandu and overnight in hotel.

Day 03. Early morning drive or fly to Pokhara and overnight in hotel.

Day 04. Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk and overnight in guest house.

Day 05. Trek to Tadapani and overnight in guest house .

Day 06. Trek to Dobato  and  overnight in tent.

Day 07. Rest day and overnight in guest house.

Day 08.  Trek to base camp and overnight in tent.

Day 09. Day 9 to Day 20 climbing period and summit to South Annapurna(7216m).

Day 21. Trek back to Dobato and overnight in guest house.

Day 22. Trek down to Ghandruk.

Day 23. Trek down to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.

Day 24. Drive back to Kathmandu and overnight in hotel.

Day 25. De-briefing and overnight in the same hotel.

Day 26. Fly back to home.
